First lets clear some assumptions I am making in this article:
At Truww we use only plywood for all interior projects. Therefore we are not considering estimates based on MDF or Particle Board (PLPB) which is a much cheaper material.
There are vendors who do a bad quality of work and charge very less, at the same time there are some who maintain very high levels of customer satisfaction
but also charge a premium. At Truww we always tie-up with vendors who do good quality work and at the same time work on reasonable rates.
Now that we are on the same page, lets understand the factors affecting price. There are only three major factors affecting the prices:
Scope of work means what all is included in the project, a Budget project involves only woodwork like Modular Kitchen, Wardrobes, TV Units, etc whereas a Premium project involves wallpapers, false ceilings, lightings as well. In a Luxury project there will be costlier finishes like acrylic, modern accessories like sliding wardrobes from Aristo and may also include decor items like curtains, etc.
Obviously the kind of materials you use makes a difference, however the variance due to this factor is only marginal.
This is a major factor in terms of pricing. In interiors there are often multiple middlemen involved and that may increase the pricing by as high as 30%. That is why at Truww we recommend that customers get their projects done directly through the manufacturer at the right price.
Lets also look at some of the projects and their costs:
Project Type | Purpose | Estimated Cost | Example Project 1 | Example Project 2 |
---|---|---|---|---|
2-3 BHK | For Rent | 2-4 Lakhs | Mantri Esplana (Cost 2.8L) |
